The 4th and 5th March 2011 saw the first ever regular season NBA game held outside North America. London's O2 Arena played host to the historical full house event.
And guess what? We were right there, in the thick of it watching history unfold and enjoying the carnival atmosphere!
The gladiators for both evenings were the New Jersey Nets and the Toronto Raptors.
Day one, saw the Nets win 116 to 103 in a flat and uneventful match!
Day two however did not disappoint and saw the Nets clinch the game with a 137 to 136 win in a nail biting rally which had three overtimes. The commentator couldn't have shrilled it better:
"One of the best basketball games of the season was played here in London!"
