Determined to get into shape she signed up to her local gym. Steadily she grew in confidence, ability and curiosity which led to a Personal Training Certification and a batch of grateful clients.
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree and her Dad, Mark Griffith, saw to it that her curiosity was tapped once more. Mark, the other co-owner of CrossFitLithium, stumbled across CrossFit on youtube about a year and a half ago. Soon after Danielle and Mark were heading to their first CrossFit kettlebell and bodyweight seminars. There the seed was planted and shortly after CrossFitLithium sprung.
Danielle says of her experience with CrossFit, "My body can do things that I never thought possible, I'm stronger, leaner and more confident than ever before."
An advocate of consistent short intense sessions and frequent healthy meals, Danielle achieved figure competition...figure earlier this year by training for only 20minutes, 5 days a week and eating 6 meals a day.
Danielle's advice to ladies considering taking up CrossFit is, "It's scalable to everybody's fitness level and YOU provide your own intensity. Your workouts are different everyday, therefore your body does not adapt to it. Making you constantly better, faster and stronger. You will be able to do things that you never dreamed of doing and and it's SO FUN."
