Having participated in numerous sports from the age of 4 and competed in elite level basketball Canadian Michelle Roots possess athleticism in spades.
With the same determination and focus for her sports Michelle tackled a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology and Applied Health, majoring in Athletic Therapy from the University of Winnipeg.
As a serving elite athlete at University she drew on her own personal experiences whilst dealing hands on with exceptional athletes. This grounding led her to gain a specialist certification in Strength and Conditioning in 2007, resulting in the birth of her company CORE Conditioning in the same year.
Core Conditioning's clients include athletes of all levels from recreational to well known professionals. Whether these athletes need training to improve their performance or rehabilitation from injury Michelle delivers exactly what's needed.
Her vast knowledge, experience and plentiful sport industry recommendations means she is called upon by the media to provide the public with welcome fitness tips and advice.
Despite the accolades, praise and credentials Michelle continues to challenge herself by pursuing more and more health and fitness certifications and by testing 'guinea pig stylie' new and innovative exercises.
