Cucumbers...

Cucumbers are an excellent source of silica, potassium, magnesium, vitamin c and folic acid.

Silica - contributes to the strength of the bodies connective tissues.

Potassium - helps regulate blood pressure and promotes muscle flexibility.

Magnesium - aids relaxation of muscles and nerves plus encourages smooth blood circulation.

Vitamin C - protects cells from free radical damage, is thought to lower the risk of cancer and aids in fighting colds and various infections.

Folic Acid - promotes healthy blood cells, maintains good blood vessel function which aids the heart, helps prevent osteoporosis bone fractures and can guard against Alzheimers.

Low in calories, high in water content and high in fibre. It has a cleansing effect on the body helping it eliminate uric acid and other waste materials and chemical toxins.
